The house was clean and as expected. The outdoor space was so relaxing. Just wish there was a light for the patio. Outdoor couch cushion’s are a little worn. The layout of the house was nice. We were traveling with a group of friends for a wedding. The house has a master suite with a nice soaking tub and separate shower. Next to the kitchen there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom. And towards the back of the house is another suite style space. The garage is where the games are but it was a little warm in there so we didn’t spend much time playing. The house starts you with the basics to get started. (2 dish washer pods, 2 laundry pods, 1 toilet paper roll in each bathroom) so if you are staying for more than 2 days you will want to pick up some toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer pods and laundry detergent. We did not pay to heat the pool and felt like the temperature was refreshing in the Florida heat. The

The home itself was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the pool was great, and the yard was well maintained. This property has all the ingredients to be a five-star stay.Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by a major issue that was never disclosed before arrival. Shortly after checking in, we noticed a horrific mildew and musty odor throughout the home. When I contacted the host, I was then informed there had been a water leak the day before our arrival.The drywall had simply been cut out and left unfinished. It was not taped, mudded, or painted, and there did not appear to be any remediation completed. The carpet remained completely saturated, and the odor persisted throughout our stay. It was bad enough that I purchased Glade plug-ins for the entire house just to make it tolerable, yet both of us still became sick.As a contractor who manages multiple properties, this is not something I would ever allow at one of my own homes. Water leaks happen, but guests should never unknowingly check into a property with active water damage and unfinished repairs without full disclosure.To make matters worse, the resolution offered was a 64 refund, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. Additionally, a lawn crew arrived very early on a Saturday without notice. Overall, this is a beautiful property, but communication, remediation, and guest accommodations need significant improvement.
