Cocoonr Agency is pleased to offer this lovely 32 m² flat, nestled at the foot of the “Gros Caillou” and situated on the raised ground floor of a typical building in the Croix-Rousse neighbourhood. A perfect base for your leisure or business stays.
It enjoys plenty of natural light, typical of the traditional Croix-Rousse ‘Canut’ flats, and is situated on a quiet street.
The flat is laid out as follows:
- A living room with a single-person sofa bed, a television and Wi-Fi.
- A fully equipped kitchen: kettle, hob, fridge, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, and a bar table with high chairs, perfect for enjoying a convivial meal.
- A separate bedroom with a bed (160x200), a glass partition offering a view of the living area (which can be screened off with a curtain), a fitted wardrobe with hanging space and storage.
- A bathroom with a bath, a washbasin, a heated towel rail and a washing machine.
- A separate toilet.
Transport:
- Metro: Line C, Croix-Rousse stop
- Buses: 2, 33, 45, C13, C19, C26, C28
- Part-Dieu station: take the C13, 30-minute journey
- To get to Saint-Exupéry Airport: 1 hour on the C13 from Croix-Rousse to Part-Dieu, then the Rhône Express for 30 minutes.
Croix-Rousse is a neighbourhood brimming with small local shops (grocery shops, restaurants, bakeries, patisseries, butchers, etc.). The main street of Croix-Rousse is perfect for strolling from shop to shop, and there’s a market every day on Boulevard de la Croix-Rousse. A neighbourhood with breathtaking views of Lyon, and plenty of stairways leading down to the Presqu’île district on foot.

Le Tisserand "🙂 Location was perfect, we are walkers, so for us, everything was walking distance - but even then the stn is very nearby if you wabt to avoid the hill. The team ate friendly and easy to communicate with, even with our limited french.
Cute little flat, had everything we needed
🙁 Mattress has seen better days!
And to access the wifi pass code you have to scan a QR code to a Web page - luckily we had decided to purchase EU roaming for our phones, but this is something I've never done before, so we would have been abit stuck."

We enjoyed Croix Rousse and the apartment. Though very small, it was modern, the kitchen was orderly and well suited for our needs. The linens were good and the bedroom storage was nice. Our biggest concern was the building itself. The entry area and corridor leading to the apartment needs some attention. What was particularly bothersome was the lack of working lights in the hallway. In order to safely navigate our way to the apartment, we needed to use the light on our mobile phone so we could see. Once we got to the apartment, the light switch by the door worked and would illuminate the corridor, but to get to that switch we needed the light on our phone.

Le Tisserand "Great apartment, great location
🙂 A great little apartment for a couple, with everything we needed. The location is hard to beat - in a quiet spot, but very close to restaurants, cafes, shops and boulangeries. A short walk to the metro and buses for exploring the rest of Lyon, and only one bus to get to Lyon Part-Dieu station to catch our train on the day we left."
