Treetop Retreat is in Coosawattee River Resort
If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful mountain retreat than you have found your spot. Our Treetop Retreat is the absolute perfect mountain getaway and is non smoking cabin. With its mountain views and floor-to-ceiling knotty pine walls it is the definition of a what a mountain cabin looks like. On the approach to the cabin you are greeted with a cement driveway with plenty of parking and a beautiful front porch with outdoor swing. Once you enter the cabin to the right is a very spacious living room with a set of comfy couches, a large screen TV, and rustic stone fireplace. On the other side of the first floor we have our kitchen and dining room areas. This kitchen is equipped with everything to prepare your family a delicious home cooked meal. It has matching stainless steel appliance and cute center island that can be used as a breakfast bar. The large dining room table that can seat six adults comfortably sits close by in the dining room area. Also on the main floor we have a half bath in the hallway. There is a large covered and screened in porch area with another outdoor dining table to enjoy your meals outside on a cool fall night. The covered deck also has some outdoor patio furniture to sit back and relax in and maybe catch a deer strolling by. As we head upstairs we will find our 2 bedrooms. The king master suite has its own smart flat screen TV and a private screened in deck with a bistro table and chairs. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and another full bathroom across the hall. The lower level has a ping pong table, laundry area, and covered deck with outdoor patio furniture. The outdoor yard has a wonderful outdoor fire pit to enjoy a camp fire and smores with the family. This is a GREAT cabin for a family of 4, perfect size, well situated, and on top of the mountain. The drive from the cabin to downtown is short, Pets are allowed, and you will find deer everywhere in the morning, and evenings. Go to TSC in Ellijay and buy a bag of deer corn for 9, and they will be your best friends. The Cabin was clean inside, the beds were super comfortable, the furniture was perfectly cabiny and TONS of bathrooms (3), which was great. I would suggest a power washing of the windows, and outside it was a bit dirty, lots of spider webs. The Bonfire pit is on the slope so it's hard to enjoy, and maybe add a propane grill, the charcoal one is a pain to use. Full laundry in the basement, and they give you a small amount of laundry tabs to use, which is nice. The resort is great, so many things to do, game machines, pools, beautiful bridges, and you can walk right into the river, and enjoy it on a hot day, All in all the cabin is great, and we will def be renting it again, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great stay, and thanks to Dominic for all the help, and quick and constant communication.

Primary Bathroom shower head needs to be replaced to give more water pressure. The kitchen sink windowsill was really dirt and filled with dead bugs that should be cleaned out. But overall, the house was very clean and pleasant to stay in. The location of the home was super easy to get to and super convenient.

Cute cabin, but a little rough around the edges. Cleaning crew needs to do a deep dive- spider webs everywhere and dusty. Also some dirty dishes in the cabinet with food still on them.
