We felt very secluded in the area we were at, despite there being other buildings around. It was very calm and peaceful here. I was really neat that water is in front of and behind the property. We used this space as an escape to feel no pressure for obligations but to just do what we felt like. Color, reading, playing games on my laptop, ect. It was really awesome there was access to a firepit and kayaks. We wanted to kayak but the water was a bit choppy during our stay. Oh I also wanted to say its a small cabin but fits literally everything you need!

Was great for our first stop around the UP.

We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again.

It has 3 bedrooms rooms. 1 is a smaller room with a full size bed. 2 are galley style, one having a lower full size bunk. Over your head is the full size bunk that you access from the other room. Not the best set up for older adults getting in and out of the bunk set up. Pretty much every storage place and dressers have supplies in them so lived out of suitcases. It's a small place so we kept our suitcases and the majority of our clothes in the car. There is no air condition. They have fans. They have two small personal cooling devises.. they are no helpFortunately screens are very good and you can open all the windows at night. All interior doors louvered for air flow but doesn't lend to much noise privacy such as using the bathroom. Views are great. It's quiet. It was clean and everything provided worked and was adequate.
