Hosts were very responsive and accommodating, which made our trip easier. I don’t want to sound too picky, but the house needs to be cleaned a little more thoroughly, some repairs done and the basement was smelling a bit musty. We moved one of the chairs and there were a lot of dead bugs under it. It wasn’t the mayflies that just hatched either. Basement seemed to have a humidity problem. There was a dehumidifier down there, but it didn’t seem to be keeping up. We were only staying for two nights, so we just powered through. A longer trip probably would have caused an issue. Deck was a cool spot to hang out on, but looks like it’s in need of repair. Opened a window in the master bedroom, that proceeded to derail, and I had to spend some time getting the roller back on to get it to close. Screens in the basement bedroom were broken, so no opening that sliding door either. Again, really not trying to sound picky, but when everything stacks up, it kind of puts a damper on everything.

Had a great stay!

Beautiful house and great location.

Booked this stay for a long weekend ski vacation with friends. Location and views absolutely beautiful. However, rest of the process was rough. Host very kindly allowed us early check in, however, security system went off when we entered and cops showed up questioning us on why we were in the house. Hosts were not picking up phones (got a hold of 30 min later). Smelly trash was left in the kitchen (from lasts guests??). And then we couldnt find the outdoor trash can and ended up having to unbury the trash can from 3 ft of snow and bring it up the VERY long, steep driveway. Hosts were very kind when we were able to get in contact, but overall experience was subpar.
