This weekend was great thanks to our wonderful host and her cabin. She went out of her way to help us with information on the fireworks as we were there specifically to find a quiet place for 1 of our dogs. She answered all questions in record time.

This place is just as pictured and we had a lovely one night stay! We were able to bring our cat with us as well. Everything was very clean and there was a grocery store 5 mins away and a well stocked kitchen. It got a little hot at night but we found a built in fan that worked great! One thing to note with bringing your cat- there were a couple mouse traps (no mice were spotted) we had to move so our cat didn't step on one and there was a closet on the ground floor that he got into but we were able to blockade it. We will definitely be back!

The Storybook Nook is magical vacation place. Everything you need is there. The owners have done a marvelous job of decorating and creating an aura that is out of the ordinary. Fairly conveniently located to get to Arrowhead Village or Blue Jay. A nice quiet neighborhood. Lydia the host was easily available and helpful.
