Welcome to Casa Cazadora del Mar (home of the Sea Huntress), located at the one of a kind Residencias Reef. This resort is a gated community with 24/7 security. It is located on the famous San Francisco Beach, with a shared pier which allows access to the sea. Scuba, deep sea fishing, and other boat excursions pickup there daily.
Our condo has everything you would ever need for a wonderful, just-like-at-home stay. Our top (3rd) floor patio balcony, with your own bubble tub, loungers, café table and chairs, a gas bar-b-que for cooking the catch of the day. The condo overlooks the impeccably manicured grounds and beach, where you will experience breathtaking sunsets. Our view to the west is as good as it gets in Residencias Reef.
There are many things to do on the island including walking along the beach, visiting the beach clubs and restaurants for amazing food, live entertainment and meeting new people. You can also try parasailing, kayaking, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, shopping in town and so much more.
Isla de Cozumel is a diver's paradise, consistently regarded as one of the top 5 diving sites in the world, consistent 100-150 feet+ visibility and effortless drift diving. The water temperature range between 80 and 84 degrees Fahrenheit. There is incredible snorkeling at our private beach and all over the island. This vacation is a water lover’s paradise.
Residencias Reef has two fabulous, pools with large decks and palapas to enjoy until 10pm each night. There is also the exclusive, quiet, rooftop patio stretching the entire length of our building, providing the same great view as our unit. The rooftop patio offers showers, bathrooms, and a palapa with refrigerator, small wet bar, and lounge chairs to enjoy a relaxing, sunny afternoon of reading or just watching the clouds go by.
Casa Cazadora del Mar is a 12-minute drive into town (San Miguel de Cozumel), has many shops, boutiques, the town square, Cuban cigars, and wonderful restaurants. The grocery store and seafood market are located intown.
Enjoy the islands restaurants, order in local fare to the unit, prepare your own meals in our full kitchen, or you can take advantage of a private chef, that will prepare authentic Mayan fare right in the condo. For an additional fee, we can even have your groceries waiting for you. We also have a regularly updated “Our Favorites” book in the condo that can help you choose great local restaurants during your stay.
Our housekeeper Rosie will be at your service to make the condo tidy daily during your stay. She has a key and will make her arrival known to you before entering.
Our property manager Mario will make sure that everything is attended to for your stay. He can help you book tours, give you extra recommendations.

At first I found it hard to believe that any place can get only ratings of 10 until we stayed here! The flat was clean, charming, nicely decorated, everything worked, the kitchen had all you needed (fridge, stove, microwave, blender, toaster, toaster oven, utensils, etc.), the balcony was spacious and had a great view of the pool and ocean! One of the added perks was having Roxy cook dinner! If you stay here, which I would unequivocally recommend, you have to have one of Roxy’s amazing dinners! Probably the best dinner we had on the island! The grounds weee impeccably maintained and the staff was super friendly and always willing to help! It was truly a pleasure coming “home” every day! Totally a 10-rating!

This place was perfect. The host thought of everything you might need for your stay. And the property mngr was very helpful with anything I needed. Very relaxing and the home cooked meal service was well worth it. I would definitely stay here again. I was a little annoyed that Secrets (next door) was charging for me to use their dock to board my dive boat. And unlock the OC, GRAND JUST DOWN THE BEACH YOU WERE UNABLE TO BOARD JUST IN THE WATER THEY HAD IT ROPED OFF FOR SWIMMING SO YOU COULDN'T DO YOU COULDN'T EVEN DO THAT SO YOU WERE PRETTY MUCH FORCED TO PAY THE 10 AND THAT'S WHETHER YOU BE STAYING THERE OR NOT SO I IMAGINE THE PEOPLE STAYING THERE WERE REALLY UNHAPPY ABOUT IT BUT ANYWAY THAT WASN'T MY HOUSE FAULT.

The condo is quite large and very pretty. The view from the balcony (where we sat every night) is delightful. We are ex-pats who live year round across from Cozumel in Playa del Carmen. We went over because the sargasso (seaweed) that has been seasonally plaguing the Caribbean for the past 10 years is really bad this year. WE really cannot sit on our beach - and the leeward side of Cozumel is protected from the Sargasso. That said - be advised that most of the beaches on that side of Cozumel are mostly coral and rock and difficult to access even if you are steady on your feet. It can be done - but given that we are approaching 70 we didn’t want to risk a fall - so we did not go in the water. We did use the pool which is also delightful. We did not use the hot tub on the patio, but had it been chilly at night (as it is in the winter months) I am sure we would have. It was a nice addition. The kitchen is well designed and has ample appliances/dishes/pots and pans. I would highly recommend the unit.

Amazing property, beautiful condo, responsive and attentive maintenance and housekeeping. Everything was almost perfect!!The cons: almost every appliance broke down during our stay. The air conditioning needs major maintenance, everything had a horrible musty smell upon return home to the point that some things had to be thrown away because the smell could not be washed out. It's cozumel, it's humid as all heck, right next to the ocean, so it's somewhat normal i guess to have that residual smell on everything...but this was a next level musty odor. TVs needed to be constantly reset or messed with to get them to work. Refrigerator needed a bathmat in front of it. Pull out sofa bed was only a 2" mattress topper. It was just annoying bc it was always something everyday. Awesome maintenance and housekeeping were always there right away to fix anything though. Really nice people. Truly, it's really an amazing place and i would absolutely stay here again, just appliance issues everyday made it a pain to constantly request to fix. One of the nicest places I've stayed in cozumel and I would book my next stay here if I was staying that far south on the island.
