Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem. You will have 200 acres of private land, family owned since 1818. Creek access for fishing, canoeing, etc. Come and unplug in peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Access to the Cheasapeake Bay or the Atlantic is a short drive away. Enjoy the daily sites of deer, turkey, waterfowl, eagles and osprey among dozens of other wildlife. Cabin is 1 mile off the road down a private dirt road. This is a rare experience to sample off grid living.

This place is as advertised and very special. It's basic and the limits with the solar/water, etc. are real. But it all adds up to a really rustic feel and is quite comfortable if you understand what you're signing up for. It felt like a true get away. Lovely atmosphere and it felt like we were much farther away from civilization than we actually were.

Good stay. Watching the deer and got to listen to turkeys gobble while drinking morning coffee with the family was a good time.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this cabin, and it is our favorite place to relax and truly disconnect. Quiet, off the grid and no noise. The owner, Terri, is very communicative and quick to respond. We cant wait to come back!!
