Plan to have fun time grilling out by the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub as the moon rises over the mountain, while what activities you will be doing--going to Luray Caverns, hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, maybe zip-lining or horse back riding too. River activities are April to Nov for canoeing, kayaking, tubing and rafting with us at Shenandoah River Outfitters. Great weekend getaway! Close proximity to great hiking and town with good food. The house is between two other cabins and was a little less private than we would have liked but overall a great stay!

We had such a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was amazing! Exactly what we needed after exploring Luray Caverns. The sunrise and sunset views were absolutely breathtaking, and the stargazing at night was magical.We missed the note about bringing our own sheets and towels, but luckily the town is close by and we were able to grab some from Dollar General. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to messages, which made everything smooth and stress-free.Highly recommend this cozy cabin for a peaceful mountain getaway!

The hot tub was wonderful! The bed in the main bedroom has the most comfortable matress imaginable! The three cabins are located pretty close together, so be prepared to be friendly with your neighbors or atleast hear them and their music when you are outside. The shower could use a revamp, and be prepared to live out of your luggage because there is no storage space. The outdoor area is beautiful, but there isnt anywhere to access the river unless you want to slide through lots of mud on the way. It was lovely sitting by the river and enjoying the wildlife though- we saw tons of birds and two deer during our stay. The fireflies in the evenings are spectacular. The TV cut off continuously, but it may have been user error and we weren't really there to watch much television anyway. This was my first VRBO without trash service, and having to drive our trash 8 minutes down the road was a hastle. Perhaps this is common in the area though. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this rustic little cabin. The location is wonderful, and we enjoyed the cornhole set and plentiful outdoor space.

The cabin was exactly as described. Easy to find and clean inside. Conveniently close to Luray but far enough out that it’s quiet. Nice view of the river from the deck—great spot for your morning coffee. The host was very responsive to questions and the check-in/out process was easy.
