Es Castellot Vell is a rural house with more than 250 years of history, renovated with the comfort of a modern home. The house is for a maximum of 11 people and offers five double bedrooms and one single bedroom, as well as three bathrooms, two of them en suite. The house has wifi internet connection and satellite television.
The property is accessed via a lovely driveway flanked by two large stone walls and we arrive at the front area of the house with the classic façade of Majorcan country houses. Through the main door you enter a large hallway, on the left is the lounge with sofa, armchairs and TV. On the right there is a large double bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with an enormous bathtub. From the hallway you access the large kitchen with pantry, refurbished in rustic style and fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and all necessary kitchen utensils. From the hallway you also access the dining room with a large wooden table, a bathroom with shower and a small corridor from which you access the three double bedrooms and the single bedroom.
A staircase in the entrance area leads to the upper floor, where there is the fifth and extra large double bedroom with an extra large bed and en suite bathroom with a bathtub. This features air conditioning.
The pool area, accessible from the dining room, is very spacious and fully equipped for a fantastic holiday. In this area you will find the private 10m x 5m pool, umbrellas, sun loungers, a relaxation area with a comfortable sofa, a beautiful wooden table with benches for dining, a gas barbecue and extensive lawn. And all of this adorned with a beautiful and relaxing panoramic view over the interior of the island.

The house is in very good condition.
Beautifull garden, pool and outdoor kitchen.
Inside, the rooms are very nice and clean.
We had a pleasant stay and will come back within a couple of years!

Uns hat alles gefallen nicht zu toppen
Schlechtes W - LAN auf der Terrasse sowie wäre es ein Vorschlag vor den Fenstern Fliegengitter zu montieren damit man Nachts in Ruhe bei offenem Fenster Schlafen kann und - NICHT - von den Mücken geweckt oder zerstochen wird , denn wir alle wurden mehrfach gestochen aber sonst war alles Top und sauber POOL und Außenbereich inbegriffen !!!!!

Der Weg zur Finca ist auf den letzten Metern sehr abenteuerlich und holprig. Bei Ankunft waren wir dann aber mehr als geflasht von dieser schönen Finca. Diese ist groß und man hat vom Pool aus die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge die man je gesehen hat.
Die Pool- und Außenanlage war wirklich sehr schön und man konnte in der Ruhe entspannte Tage erleben. Wir würden diese Finca jederzeit wieder buchen.

- wunderschöne, authentische Finca mit Wow-Effekt, die Bilder entsprechen absolut der Realität!
- toll ausgestattete Küche, mit Gasherd/-ofen, Kaffeemaschine, Espressokocher, Spülmaschine, Mixer, zwei Kühlschränke, großes Gefrierfach, Weber-Gasgrill
- riesiges Grundstück mit tollem Weitblick, bombastische Sonnenuntergänge und ein freier Blick auf die Milchstrasse
- absolute Ruhe
- toller Pool
- gute Betten mit ausreichend Ersatzkissen
- schneller und unkomplizierter Kontakt zu Frau Krohn (Danke für alles!)
- Klimaanlage wäre gerade für das Zimmer unter dem Dach wichtig und würde die Finca generell auf das absolute Topniveau heben
- Moskitonetze über den Betten oder Fliegengitter an den Fenstern wären wünschenswert, da die Stechmücken doch recht zahlreich vertreten sind. Ohne Insektenschutzspray, Citronellakerzen und Raid-Abwehrstecker wird man "gefressen"
- der Duschkopf im Badzimmer im Obergeschoss sollte dringend ersetzt werden, da völlig verkalkt.
- das riesige Grundstück und die abgeschiedene Lage haben natürlich auch den Nachteil, dass es zur Küste mindestens 35 min sind, Supermärkte sind innerhalb von 15-20 min erreichbar. Dies ist nicht zu ändern und kein wirklicher Kritikpunkt, es sollte einem nur bewusst sein.
- Reinigungsutensilien für den Grill haben gefehlt, eine Drahtbürste würde die Lebensdauer deutlich erhöhen. Jeder "Grillmeister" säubert gerne den Grill, wenn das Werkzeug vorhanden ist.
- zwei Wäscheständer vor Ort, allerdings einer ziemlich instabil, der andere aus Kunststoff ist defekt.
- nur zwei Sonnenschirme, da werden bei voller Belegung die Schattenplätze am Pool auf Dauer etwas knapp
-> Das ist definitiv "Jammern auf hohem Niveau", mit den oben genannten Verbesserungen wäre die Finca eine 10/10, so wahrscheinlich eine 9/10!
