Our rustic Barn has very comfy beds with fine sheets, a king, queen and twin beds for 5 people. The Barn is set up to provide the best possible Maine experience including all the comforts of home. The meadows, beaches and expansive skies make our farm one of the most beautiful places in Maine. Experience the history, natural expansive meadow land and beaches on our family's Sea Captain farm.

2 beaches and a great fire pit, water access for canoes and kayaks, rent able in Blue Hill and dropped off here.
The fields have blueberries in late July and August to pick.
You are invited to share in the greenhouse. Pick some food and maybe plant some seeds!

Tapley Farms, a meadow land with two beaches, blueberries, organic gardening, local music, farm-raised food, tons of art, and events all nearby. A Renaissance has occurred here, come enjoy the energy and visit Acadia, Holbrook Island, or enjoy the farm.
Fresh bread at Tinderhearth, dairy at Quill's End Farm, our local farmer's markets, some famous! Boating, hiking, foodies, and local talent, singing, dancing, and enjoying this wonderful place, come visit us!

Cars needed. Kayaks may be delivered from Blue Hill to here and stored at the boathouse or at Smith Cove.

Nearby Acadia, Holbrook, Deer Isle and Stonington for days trips or take the ferry to Isle au Haut for a hike. Lobsters available in Blue Hill and Penobscot along with fresh fish. Tinderhearth Bakery(just won the runner up in the US for pizza with Bon Appetite ) for bread, croissants and pizza. Or stop in the Bagaduce lunch for a James Beard Haddock sandwich!
We are often busy on the farm and gardening, mowing and cultivating are on going here.
Our property is host to various critters and is a certified organic property. We are interested in preservation, biodynamics, sustainability and organic medicinals. We offer you the use of our entire farm to enjoy the water, available vegetables and spectacular sunsets. When you visit us, you are visiting a farm and wildflowers and herbal gardens. All waterfront, there are 2 beaches to enjoy and fields to walk in or kick a soccer ball!
And Dogs! Yes at $30 per day per dog up to two. Rules apply.
California water rules apply. This Barn is on an organic farm in meadowland. We respect privacy and a peaceful environment. Our policy is that we allow the use of the property, private beach and yard designated for the Barn. Access to water for swimming and boating is available.
The Barn is available at 4 pm and checkout is 10 am. All furniture is placed where it was and garbage placed in container and recyclables sorted and left by the door. We expect respect for our property and general quiet to enjoy this peaceful place. Thank you. Dogs at $25 per day
