PROS: Host was very communicative. House was in great location, right across from a beach access point and close to the center. Basic necessities were stocked. The host provided beach essentials, a beach cart, and a cooler bag for use. The main living space is open and airy. There an extra sleeping space on the main floor with a futon. It’s open, but worked for us!CONS: The fridge was in poor shape. Several of the shelves were broken. The kitchen faucet needs repair. It would turn on by itself, if we didn’t position it in a specific way. The washing machine needs to be balanced. It would shake uncontrollably when it was on the spin cycle. It was nice to have a washer and dryer though! Floors could have been cleaner. We’re a no shoes in the house family, and the floor turned the bottoms of our feet black. Bed sheets are not provided. Fans do not work well. Overall a great stay with my family! We would definitely rent again.

This property is very close to the beach (1 street from the beach) and was perfect for our needs and wants for our vacation. The location of the property allowed us to easily go to Boston for a day, do a fishing charter in the Hampton’s, visit Fort McClary in Kittery, Maine and have many trips to the beach. There are some renovations that will be needed in time but overall the house was very much livable and worked out for our family vacation. The amenities at this place are incredible from lawn chairs, beach toys, toys and games inside, and kitchen supplies and equipment. Overall, I would recommend this house to others for a vacation as it was in an excellent location and very affordable for a beach house. The reason for the four star listing is due to not enough information being provided in the listing prior to booking. We had no knowledge it had no air conditioning when we booked. We also were not aware of the requirement to bring sheets for 6 beds along with bath towels. This information regarding linens was received a week prior to our stay. So we had to go buy linens for our stay. I relayed this to the host. Her response was very apologetic and considerate but there was no offer to cover the cost of the linens. There was also a hefty property damage fee when booking the property which the host was unaware of. We also were expected to wash blankets before checking out @ 11 which is not normal at a VRBO.

Great vacation spot

We had a great stay! The location was perfect across the street from the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk. The house had everything we needed. Hope to return again!
