This 3-bedroom, 2-full bath cabin on the West Shore is the perfect place to come and relax in the summer or winter! Walking distance to Chambers Landing and the Rubicon Trail, this quiet street will provide the perfect get-away for you and your family.
Walk or ride right out of the cabin onto great hiking trails or sit and enjoy the large deck while you BBQ in the summer or the NEWLY added covered front porch and watch the snowfall under the patio heaters. Play one of the many games provided and enjoy the sounds of the great outdoors, including McKinney Creek flowing right around the corner.
The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for those who enjoy cooking or BBQing! Don't feel like cooking, venture out and enjoy a meal at Chambers, Swiss Restaurant, West Shore Cafe, Dog and Bear Tavern (voted One of Tahoe's Best places to eat), and Shadyside Tavern - or grab burgers to-go from Cult Burger all just a short drive from the cabin. Explore a bit further and head into Tahoe City, a 15min drive where you'll finds a myriad of shops, restaurants, ice cream and activities.
Head to West Shore Sports rentals for all your outdoor activity needs, explore the bike trail up to Tahoe City or down to Meek's bay. Or hit the slopes at Homewood just a 5-minute drive. The cabin even has a small desk for those interested in escaping their 'home office' and looking for a change of scenery.
Tahoma market is just around the corner, where you can grab gourmet sandwiches and all sorts of goodies for a day at Meek's Bay! Head north to Tahoe City and raft down the Truckee River, visit some of the many shops and restaurants, or venture south to Emerald Bay and hike any of the vast hikes with breathtaking views! We had an amazing stay at Chad’s cabin and couldn’t have asked for a better setup for two families. The layout was perfect, especially the bunk room for the kids, they absolutely loved having their own space, and it worked out so well for everyone.The location was ideal: easy access to both South Shore and Tahoe City, with tons of activities, dining, and outdoor fun nearby. Getting around was simple and convenient, which made the trip even more relaxing.Chad was an outstanding host and extremely responsive and thoughtful. The extra touches really stood out, from sleds for the kids to enjoy in the snow to a great selection of board games for cozy nights in. One of our favorite surprises was the heated blankets on the beds, such a huge plus! Every bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after full days of fun.Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, well-equipped, family-friendly, and perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with families or kids.

We loved the cabin, especially the interior. The kitchen was lovely and our beds were so comfortable. I wish we had been told that there was no cell phone reception at the cabin because all of my information from Greg was on my phone i.e. the code and other info

This is one of the best vacation rentals I have experienced. From the beds to the super comfortable patio furniture to the decor and the heaters on the patios, everything was wonderful! There were plenty of nice towels to go around, we used the beach chairs and toys, and the kitchen was well stocked. It is a perfect location, close to everything. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
