The cottage is within walking distance of the most photographed lighthouse in New Brunswick and connected by bridge to the US mainland at Lubec, Maine. It is located on beautiful Campobello Island where the beloved summer home of Franklin Delano Roosevelt is open as a museum and sits surrounded by stunningly beautiful hiking trails and interesting beaches in the Roosevelt International Park. The Park offers a delightful and infromative "Tea with Eleanor" (Roosevelt) in one of the historic large cottages on the Park grounds. The property has a flat lot so that a car can pull up to the entrance of the house, also the lawn is overlooking the ocean and is appropriate for tents for camping.

For overflow crowds, there is an additional quaint private cottage next door that sleeps 2-3 with a beautiful oceanfront view and large deck.
