Nice place, convenient location but its directly adjacent to a student housing complex so it can get a little noisy at night time.

This is a one of a kind majestic, historic home! So it was disappointing to find dusty fixtures, unclean pans in the cupboard, and dim lighting in most rooms. But we drove away happy, having left it cleaner than we found it!

Overall, we enjoyed spending time together during our five-night stay, and the home met our basic needs. However, the property showed its age and would benefit from additional maintenance and a more thorough cleaning.When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was visible ceiling damage beneath the upstairs bathroom. We also reported that the microwave door was broken, and the host let us know it was still functional. Unfortunately, it did not heat properly when we tried to use it to make popcorn. The reclining mechanism on one of the couches was broken, and the queen mattress in our bedroom had a significant dip in the middle, causing both of us to roll toward the center each night. In addition, both the king and queen beds were quite firm, which neither couple found particularly comfortable.The air conditioning was another challenge. We happened to be visiting during a period of record-breaking heat, with daytime temperatures exceeding 100F. Although the thermostat was initially set to a comfortable temperature, the system would automatically become much warmer overnight and at times during the day. We didn’t realize until our last night that the thermostat had been programmed to automatically change the temperature, making the home uncomfortably warm during an already extreme heat wave.The biggest disappointment, however, was the cleanliness of the home. It did not appear to have been cleaned as thoroughly as we expected before our arrival. The showers, sinks, floor
