This triangular, open-air lido, filled with seawater, is an iconic feature of Penzance. Penzance is a sunny, bohemian coastal town, full of ancient nooks and crannies, old buildings and quirky streets. Nowhere is its character more vividly felt than on the town’s oldest street – the winding and atmospheric Chapel Street, which meanders down to the sea. Venture a few doors up to the one-time smugglers’ haunt, The Turk’s Head pub, one of the oldest pubs in Cornwall.
