Booked at last minute for a mini break. Cottage was well equipped for our needs. The app is fantastic to use to get information and the views were outstanding! Val made us feel very welcome and we would definately come back.

The property has everything you need and was clean and comfortable. The gardens and sitting out area was lovely and we enjoyed the shared games room (though there was no one else there when we stopped). Can walk straight from the door (recommend the Frosterley mineral walk). The walks to both the neighbouring villages also good. The roads were quiet and easy to drive. The village has pub with good food, a local co-op and a chippy.

Everything about this holiday cottage was superb and the area outstanding. We were given a warm welcome by the owners and enjoyed a couple of conversations with them during the week. I would recommend this cottage without a shadow of doubt. The area was outstanding and we will return in the future. We could have stayed another week quite happily!
