Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive, as is the unspoilt Georgian town of Louth with two busy market days a week. A visit to the sandy beaches at Mablethorpe or Skegness are always worth a day out, as is a visit to Lincoln Cathedral and the Bailgate area used in the filming of the ‘Da Vinci Code’. Had an excellent week here warm, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, the bedrooms snug and the lounge area spacious and warm, especially with the fire on. If you get palpitations away from youtube then remember you are in the country and the broadband is a little slow but them there are much better things to be doing than staring at your phone. Even our teenage daughters were quite happy. From being welcomed by the elderly sheepdog when we got out of the car to bidding farewell 7 days later we were well looked after and wanted for nothing. Will be returning next year.

Great property. Great outdoor space for playing games with the Grandchildren. Very comfortable Beds. Great Host. Looking forward to staying again sometime.

The cottage was so lovely and clean! My 5 friends and myself all had a great time over the 5 days! Only improvement I could suggest would be better WiFi and signal is also limited so it was a struggle to contact people
