Each enjoys its own area of large lawned garden, and there is a woodland play area away from the river. Great Yarmouth 13 miles. Norwich 22 miles. Free coarse fishing (in season), and bird watching (including European Cranes) all year. Shops and pubs 2 miles.. Both properties: Electricity by £1 meter. Bed linen included. Cot and highchair. Garden (Shared). Patio with garden furniture and gas barbecue. Woodland play area (away from river) with playhouse, slide and ropes. Parking. No smoking. We have been visiting Bridge End and Bridge Way for many years now, and whilst some may observe that it is ‘off the beaten track’ and not the average ‘glossy magazine’ holiday cottage, that is exactly what we love about it. Yes, it’s remote, but it’s affords the most peaceful environment I have ever encountered. An early morning ‘wander’ down the garden to the cut with the dew still on the ground, the flat calm of the water, the fish rising, the birds singing, the odd mole-hill, all add to the exquisite calm of the place. Added to this, of course, is the anticipation of possibly spotting a kingfisher, deer, rabbit or even a beautiful swallowtail butterfly (in season).Every year, I look forward to coming here yet again!

We had a very enjoyable week here; very clean, wonderful garden with lots of wildlife to watch from the window, and your own wood to explore! Plenty of room for a family and very pleasant and helpful owners. As per details, there is no wifi, and you need to bring towels. We will try and return in a year or two with the grandkids.

We had a fabulous time, everything was in easy reach sea and local towns, was advertised Dog friendly with certain instruction ,but not mention while we booked, only on a rival,
But would recommend, for a lovely place to stay, river and boat available lovely walks through the woods and along the river,
