This immaculate, well-presented, semi-detached holiday property, providing spacious and contemporary accommodation is situated in the traditional fishing village of Pittenweem. Originally, the village bake house and named after the local ‘Hedderwick bun’, the cottage has been renovated to a high standard and is the ideal location for friends and family to relax and enjoy the East Neuk of Fife and all it has to offer. Guests can catch glimpses of the sea over the rooftops and you are just a short walk from the picturesque working harbour, fish and chip shop, restaurants and selection of local shops. You can amble through the old historic lanes and discover St Fillan’s Cave with a holly well, which at one time was used by smugglers. Pittenweem is a renowned centre for artists and craftsmen who celebrate their skills during the Arts Festival every August. The Fife Coastal Route passes through the villages and you can enjoy leisurely coastal walks and visit the excellent Blue Flag beaches. This area is famous for golf and St. Andrews is only a short drive as well as a selection of links. Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth are all within an hours drive, golf course is within easy reach.

Lovely spacious house that is cosy and well equipped. The only small drawback is the parking. The large garage proved difficult to park in due to the narrow street. However there is street parking just around the corner.

Excellent large accommodation, in a lovely wee fishing Village. Would benefit from a full basket of logs for “first fireâ€, as a quarter of a log really was poor. Thankfully we had read previous reviews which commented on lack of logs - so we’d brought our own. Once we’d deep cleaned the kitchen/emptied the dishwasher filter which was full of food - we were good to go. Despite the above, Would definitely recommend.

Lovely well equipped cottage, very comfortable and extremely spacious.Great location, can walk along the coastal path to Anstruther or St Monans and is a 20 minute drive from St Andrews.Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the accommodation was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, a home away from home. Pittenweem is lovely to explore with lots to see, plenty of walks, cafes and nearby restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing by the wood burner, playing board games and resting too. Thank you!
