The people of Sylt charmingly toast each other with “Sünhair”—a Frisian phrase that literally means “to your health.” The one-bedroom vacation apartment of the same name is located on the first floor of a very well-maintained residential complex in the heart of Westerland. It offers a combined living and sleeping area of approximately 30 square meters and a quiet, east-facing balcony. A bonus of this apartment—not just for the off-season and winter—is that there’s a swimming pool and a sauna in the basement. And the beach? Just walk down the pedestrian zone and you’re there.
