The home is updated every off season with fresh-bright colors, comfortable living room furniture, new 70" WiFi TV with bluetooth sound bar, comfy deck furniture, new Quartz counter tops, extra long Restoration Hardware dining table, new oven, new microwave and 2 full size fridges! (and 2 new water heaters to handle all the showers coming off the beach!)

We offer a unique beachfront, family oriented vacation experience (NO Spring Breakers). The only community in Fort Morgan with great beachfront and a fishing pier on Mobile Bay.
We are one side of a duplex with 5 bedrooms, 3 baths.

The Dolphin East is nestled within the quiet Bay to Breakers community, located in Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, 18 miles from Hwy 59 on Rt. 180. Bay to Breakers is a low density development with private beach and community fishing pier on Mobile Bay. Beautiful Sunsets, quiet, relaxing, and an easy walk to Ft. Morgan State Park.
A community boardwalk connects the 4 beachfront duplex homes, and then runs out to the beach at the middle. So an easy 100 ft walk to the right, and then another 100 ft south down to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
Activities:: Great Fishing (Bay or Surf) Water sports, Nature trails with bird watching, sea turtles and kayaking with dolphins. Biking, Close to several plush Golf courses.
Near local restaurants, bars and convenience stores. Less than 1/2 mile from Marina with boat ramps and charters, 2 miles from Civil War landmark-Fort Morgan and the Mobile ferry to Dauphin Island, 20 miles from Gulf Shore’s main shopping district and amusement/water parks 25 miles from outlet shopping malls.
Sleeping Accommodations:: Sleeps 14 with 5 bedrooms + Kid’s “Hang-Out” room (3 King, 2 Full, 1 Full/Twin bunk, & 1 Twin.
First Floor - King size bedroom with comfortable linens, Direct TV & DVD. A full size bath services both the king and an additional bedroom with a Full bed over Full bunk and TV/DVD no Direct TV.
Second Floor – The Master Bedroom on the second floor has a Direct TV & DVD, master bathroom and private deck and large fish style Adirondack chairs.
Additional bedrooms include one room with 2 Full Beds + DirectTV and a second bedroom with 1 king (no TV). Additional sleeping arrangements include twin size day bed found in the “Hang-Out” room with large TV for movies & Xbox games, curtain for privacy.

Beautiful property just steps from the beach! Close enough to town for activities, entertainment and restaurants…but far enough away to have less populated beaches. Great area! Would love to go back!

The bedrooms were comfortable as was the main living area. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. We were a little disappointed in the beach area because of the fort morgan rental awnings blocking the view from the house and making the beach smaller. The host was very accommodating and helpful.

Great house for our family of ten! So close to the beach and they had a beach closet stocked full of everything you could need for beach and pool fun! Best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. And loved having the extra refrigerator. We also loved the screened in back porch with picnic table any then sitting on the upper and lower patios in the evenings and mornings. We BBQ’d several nights and there were several pretty decent restaurants close by when we didn’t want to drive in to Gulf Shores to eat. We love staying in Fort Morgan!

Our entire family truly enjoyed Dolphin East. There was something for everyone! It met all our needs: plenty of rooms, views from multiple levels, the ocean right out the back door, place for wee ones to play down stairs, room to spread out, big table for family dining and game nights, well stocked kitchen for cooking, multiple fridges, even a place for you to get a little solitude away from the bustle of a big family. My personal favorite was the master with the porch. If you don’t feel like going out to the beach, you can sit up there and still enjoy all the best parts of it without the sand. It rained on us a couple of days, but that didn’t hinder us from having a good time because there’s enough room to keep kids and grownups busy if you can’t get outside. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. We love being away from the busy beach activities, but still close enough to drive there. There were plenty of restaurant options within a few minutes drive and stores for those things we forgot. The beds were comfortable, the towels were wonderful, and there were enough bathrooms for all of us without having to wait on anyone to finish- that’s important with Littles. Our grown kids enjoyed the patio seating in the early mornings and evenings while the littles played on the screened-in back porch. The host was quick with responses also. Best family vacation to date! Thanks, Dolphin East!
