Getting around Kill Devil Hills and the Outer Banks is easiest by car. Located along NC-12 (North Virginia Dare Trail), our home offers quick access to the main road, making it easy to explore nearby towns like Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, and Duck.

Most beaches, restaurants, shops, and attractions are just a short drive away, so having a vehicle allows you to make the most of your stay and explore at your own pace.

Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are limited in the Outer Banks, especially during off-peak times, so we recommend having your own transportation for convenience.

For those traveling from out of town, the closest major airport is in Norfolk, VA, approximately a 2-hour drive from Kill Devil Hills.
