O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
Thanks to the mosaic that adorns its entrance, Casa Barzò pays homage in its name to Gaudí’s famous house. It features a bedroom with a solid-wood bed, a bathroom with a shower and polished stone floors, a washing machine, air conditioning, a TV, a kitchen with a living area and a sofa bed, as well as a very spacious, fully equipped outdoor area. It’s brand-new and equipped with all the amenities.
It features high-quality windows and doors with mosquito screens and a staircase leading to the rooftop with a sea view, and is well-finished with exterior insulation and a crawl space to keep it cool. The dry-stone walls surrounding the property, the traditional “pajara” in front of the house, and the blue night lights along the entrance path make the atmosphere even more romantic and charming. On either side of the 46-square-meter villa is a charming Mediterranean garden with permaculture plants; scattered throughout the rest of the property are about thirty olive trees, fig trees, and prickly pears. Linens and dishes are provided; private parking is available on the property. There are just a few rules: no littering with cigarette butts, respect the house, nature, and the atmosphere, and simply enjoy your stay.
Esterni e Sapori
The warm season lasts a long time in Salento; you can't only enjoy the garden from the outdoor seating area but also treat yourself to a refreshing outdoor shower or prepare a barbecue of fish, vegetables, or meat in the dedicated brick-built area. Just a few minutes away are both public beaches and the famous Pescoluse beaches.
If you’re out and about and want a quick bite, you can grab a rustico or, for breakfast, a traditional pasticciotto paired with iced coffee and almond milk. The local cuisine is very distinctive and includes sagne incannulate—a unique type of pasta served with sauce—turnip greens, peppers, stracciatella and burrata, pittule, frise, pucce, horse meat, and in some cases gnommareddhri—lamb or kid offal in casings.
The perfect vacation to enjoy life.
Capo di Leuca: beaches and coves in a dreamlike sea, history and Lecce Baroque, festivals, and Salento’s pizzica dance
Straddling two seas, the Ionian and the Adriatic, the Capo di Leuca area offers mainly beaches on the Ionian side and cliffs overlooking the sea interspersed with splendid coves on the eastern side. In the middle lies Leuca, famous for its Art Nouveau villas, the lighthouse that overlooks where the seas meet, and its sensational caves—a feast for the eyes with their stunning seascapes and diverse speleological features. Heading up the Adriatic coast, the Ciolo Bridge features a 35-meter drop and breathtaking views of the sea, set against a lunar landscape dotted with natural rock formations. Salve boasts a beautiful Baroque historic center and an ancient underground olive press worth visiting, as well as one of the most complete Messapian necropolises. Patù has an equally charming square, while Specchia is one of Italy’s most beautiful Baroque gems. In the summer, weather permitting, every evening is enlivened by folk festivals, musical events, and culinary celebrations, offering you an endless variety of nonstop entertainment.
