We had high expectations when booking this splendid house, and we can only recommend it warmly - we felt very welcome, the house was incredibly clean, the environment was calm, and when we had a little issue with the heating, we got help instantly. The wine is delicious, the restaurant on the premises has a fantastic flair which we discovered a bit late, as we had enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen for the first part of our stay. Service at the neighbouring gas station is super friendly as well. Definitively a great idea also at the beginning of the spring season (March), when it is still a bit too chilly to sit outside on the terrace and the impressive balcony. We headed to empty beaches for nice walks, and a lot of nice towns are in reach of day tours. Supermarkets in nearby Cecina are open on Sundays, so no issue arriving that day of the week. - Communication with the host was very smooth and responsive and we felt very welcome - recommendation to speak Italian fluently. If you like it dark for sleeping: two of the three bedrooms have wooden shades. The architecture and lighting are real highlights. Enjoy your stay!
