Day trips to nearby Austria—for example, to the Zillertal (60 km), Innsbruck (80 km), or Kitzbühel (40 km)—are highly recommended. In winter, go skiing at Hocheck under floodlights or toboggan down the 3-km-long illuminated toboggan run into the valley. The Sudelfeld ski area is about 20 km away. In summer, Oberaudorf offers 200 km of hiking trails, a summer toboggan run, parks, a skate park, the Luegsteinsee beach with a large water slide, swimming lakes all around, nature and forest trails, a paved curling rink, bike rentals, tennis courts, table tennis, billiards, mini-golf, horse-drawn carriage rides, a water ski facility, and a fairy-tale and wildlife park all nearby.
