Everything was GREAT! There were 9 of us there and everyone had their own space. The layout of the house worked very well for us. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a table and chairs for the deck. We did use the chairs that were around the fire pit on the deck, but it would have been nice to eat outside. Hayward was a great place to visit. Small town, very friendly people and we found plenty of things to do and keep busy.

The house is a strange u-shape layout that is not reflected in the listing. The floor needs immediate repair, which is evidently scheduled, however, the boards are popping up in places causing some splinters, etc. The home is warm and otherwise comfortable. All the appliances work. I would suggest an alternative to the entry. I found the lock box for the key very frustrating. Also, it should be noted that guests are responsible for shoveling now and clearing the drive.
