IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:
Age & Occupancy: The booking tenant must be 25 years or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the stay. This property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and not for worker housing.
Peak Season Monthly Bookings: All bookings from December through March must be for the entire month, starting at the beginning and ending at the end of the month. Consecutive months may be booked if they follow this requirement. Bookings that do not adhere to this policy are subject to cancellation. If you are interested in alternative dates, please contact us for approval before booking.
Pet Policy: Up to two friendly and well-behaved dogs 50 LBS or less will be considered with a $10/night pet fee. To help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all, we require every guest to submit pet or assistance animal information through BetterPet Passport. Guests will simply submit "household pet" information, request an accommodation for an assistance animal, or confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and only requires creating an account if you're bringing a pet or animal. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. While we are happy to provide general information based on our knowledge of the area, guests must exercise extreme caution when boating and ensure all activities comply with local regulations.
Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.
Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.

We had a great stay at Castaway on the Keys through iTrip. This house was a perfect home base for our family while we were down in Big Pine. We spent most of our trip fishing, diving, boating, and exploring, and the house had a ton of great features that made all of that really easy.
The dock setup was one of the biggest highlights for us. Having secure dockage for two boats was a huge plus, and the location gave us quick access to the Gulf side mangroves, Atlantic fishing, bridge fishing, and plenty of places to explore by boat. For anyone coming down to fish or dive, this house is set up really well.
The 5-gallon ice machine was also a great feature. It was just enough to help keep our coolers iced down, and we only had to buy ice a few times during the trip. The downstairs storage area was really helpful too, especially with all of our fishing gear, dive gear, coolers, and boat stuff.
The house itself had plenty of room for our group and had a great laid-back Keys feel. We loved the pool, the outdoor kitchen, and the overall setup of the home. It was comfortable, easy to settle into, and worked really well for a family trip.
iTrip was easy to work with and communicated well throughout the stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Castaway on the Keys and made a lot of great memories there. It is a great spot for anyone looking for a relaxing Lower Keys getaway, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time on the water.

We recently spent the month of February at Castaway on the Keys and the property is wonderful. The house is bright, spacious and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are great. The entire house is clean and well maintained. The outside area is resort-like, with a heated pool, plenty of pool chairs, and great water front views. The upper and lower deck/patio areas are large and provide ample space for lounging, with two gas grills, ice machine and sink. We have spent a month in the Keys for the past six years, each in a different house in a different Key, and this is our favorite property - by far. The communication with the property's agent, iTrip, was timely and informative.

Great rental property. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, wonderful bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen, The pool was wonderful and bar/grill area great. Access to a boat dock was a bonus as we enjoyed having a friends boat on the property. Great location, only 45 minutes to key west.
Looking to rent again for next season.

The house works perfectly for us. This is the third year in a row we have rented this house. I even have it reserved for next year. For those that fish/dive and have a boat, what a great place to stay.
The house is clean, AC works great, TVs in every room and the hosts are stellar.
