A beautiful wooden house right on the edge of the forest! We would be delighted to welcome you to our vacation home in the Sauerland! Located right on the edge of the forest, it’s situated in the quiet vacation home community of Frenkhausen at an elevation of approximately 300 m above sea level. A variety of trails invite you to enjoy long walks, hikes, or mountain bike rides. Of course, you’re welcome to bring your dog—pets are allowed for a fee. The property also offers perfect access to the network of bike paths, including the well-known Ruhr Valley Bike Trail.

The 80-square-meter house, built entirely of wood, sits on a lot of over 370 square meters.
The fenced-in property features a beautiful terrace with a view of the mountains. You can enjoy the view from the outdoor lounge chairs. When the weather is nice, take advantage of the sturdy outdoor seating area—perhaps to dine al fresco.

Supermarkets and a bakery are easily and quickly accessible by car or bike.

There are a variety of excursion destinations in the immediate and wider vicinity. If you’d rather not enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest right outside your door, why not take a trip here:
Esmecke Reservoir, Hennesee, Sorpesee, Möhnesee, Grevenstein Ski Lift, Eslohe Indoor and Outdoor Pool, many country inns, breweries, alpaca experiences, etc.
There’s also access to the Ruhr Valley Bicycle Trail and the Sauerland Ring.

Bedding and/or towels are available for a fee. Please let us know at the time of booking or no later than three days before arrival if you need bedding (€12 per person per stay) and/or towels (€12 per person per stay). If bedding is needed for the baby/child’s bed, please specify this! The fee will be added to your booking and may need to be paid separately.
If you do not specify anything, we will assume that you will bring these items with you.
