We loved our stay in Bar Harbor! We traveled with our teenage daughter, but if you have younger children, this cottage is especially perfect. The adorable outdoor space is a dream for kids to explore and enjoy.The cottage itself was lovely, and both bedrooms were surprisingly spacious. One thing to note is that the shower is on the smaller side and there isn't a washer or dryer. Neither was a big issue for us, but I remember wondering about laundry before our trip, so I thought it might be helpful to mention.Each morning, we enjoyed fresh coffee and made breakfast in the charming kitchen before heading out to explore. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay!Steve and Rose were wonderful hosts. They checked in during our stay and even left us extra towels and other necessities, so we never had to worry about a thing.The location couldn't be better—just minutes from both Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. We spent our days hiking, taking Lulu's Lobster Boat ride and seal watching, canoeing and paddleboarding on Long Pond, and touring Acadia with Oli's Trolley. Every experience was fantastic, but the lobster boat tour was definitely our favorite!

Great little place. Perfect if you have kids, great backyard.

Super easy check-in, kitchen facilities great, overall awesome place for a few days in Maine!
