A tranquil setting, convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to the town of Estes Park. A five minute drive will put you at the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property.
This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door.
We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake.

Vrbo counts sleeper sofas and pac-n-plays as beds. This is misleading as there are seven "proper" beds, not eleven, like some of the vrbo information says. Three kings, one queen, and three twins. There is one queen size sleeper sofa and one twin size sleeper sofa in the theater room. a twin size roll away is in the down stairs laundry room and it can be moved anywhere downstairs. There is a twin mattress under the twin bed in the downstairs "barn door" bedroom that can be placed anywhere as needed.
There are two "pac-n-play" cribs that can be put anywhere in the house. there are two "dream on me" mattresses for the pac-n-plays and bedding.

Wonderful home to enjoy Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park! Our teens and tweens enjoyed the Rock Band Xbox Game and hot tub. The deck had beautiful views and the covered patio was a nice place for breakfast outside.

Super convenient, private location steps away from RMNP. The place has everything you need in terms of being stocked with kitchen gadgets and comfy accessories like tons of pillows. Covered porch and large back deck. We loved it.

The house was incredible for our family vacation. The house was stocked with anything that a person might need. Very convenient to Estes Park. We had deer and elk in the yard. Would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about how great this rental was. Everything we could possibly need for our large group of three small families was there for us. So much helpful info about the property was provided by the host. We were just minutes from downtown Estes Park and the entrance to RMNP. The host was so helpful with information to us about timed entry into the park which was required starting the day we got there. Thank you!!!!There’s a nearby lake to walk to, as well as trails that part of our party got to run. The house is a little dated but in a way that feels very comfortable. It felt very real-life homey. The only note we had was that the temperature was a little hard to control in the house, but it didn’t cause too many problems. The baseboard heat in the basement helped a little at night but it was still very chilly down there. I bet later in the summer it is not as much of an issue.
