The first and greatest highlight of this truly wonderful place – the host! A huge thank you to you! I won't go into every little detail, but throughout our stay, we genuinely felt that our host cared about how we were getting on in Fourni, whether everything was fine, and whether we needed anything. And all of this was done in such a warm, friendly, and unobtrusive way, without disturbing our holiday in the slightest. Just one small but telling example. Our host sent us a message advising us to buy any groceries we might need for preparing our own breakfasts or dinners in advance, as all the shops in town would be closed on Sunday. A small gesture, perhaps, but such a thoughtful and, above all, useful one! There are no shops near the cottage itself. Of course, eating out in town is no problem at all – as with almost everything on Fourni, it's just around the corner, about a five-minute drive away. Another thing we really appreciated was the attention to all those little details that might come in handy during our three-day stay. From olive oil, grape vinegar, salt, sugar, and pepper to all the necessary kitchen utensils and household essentials, and finally... a packet of cat food! Yes, you read that correctly! 😊 And our new friends certainly appreciated this thoughtful touch. Because, as is the case almost everywhere on the Greek islands, every apartment, hotel, and, of course, every taverna seems to have its own little community of four-legged regulars. And how lovely it is when guests have the opportunity to make friends with these furry locals rather than simply exchanging curious glances. 😊 In other words, this is a wonderful little cottage on a beautiful and, in our opinion, rather underrated Greek island. It is also in a fantastic location, with a gorgeous view over the bay and a lovely beach just below. Provided, of course, that you don't mind a little exercise going down – and then back up – the steps.

Rather than complaints, we have two practical suggestions – one for the host and one for future guests. For the host: In our opinion, it would be worth considering some improvements to the drainage system. I don't know how technically complicated this might be in such a location, but I would imagine that a solution is possible. Occasionally, there was an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the toilet, which slightly affected an otherwise very enjoyable stay. For future guests: Please bear in mind that you cannot park your car permanently right next to the cottage. There is a public parking area approximately 200 metres away, up a fairly steep hill. However, there is good news too – you can drive right up to the cottage entrance to unload and load your luggage, and only then take your car up the hill to park. So nothing dramatic, just one of those little geographical peculiarities of hilly Fourni that is worth being aware of. 😊

Nos gusto todo. Fantastica ubicacion, limpieza, maravillosas vistas, un lugar unico en Fourni. El apartamento esta muy bien equipado. Puedo viajar con mi mascota y la comunicacion fue muy buena.

Nada.Aunque la cama doble puede ser un poco pequeña si como es nuestro caso somos personas grandes.
