Carmen's House

Propriétaire très accueillante, très bon petit déjeuner servi très tôt ce qui est appréciable quand on veut partir découvrir la ville à l'aube. Les chambres sont très propres, tout comme l'ensemble de l'établissement.

Une indication de l'établissement en façade serait utile pour trouver l'établissement, surtout quand on arrive pour la première fois la nuit. Certaines chambres donnent exclusivement sur le couloir (pas de fenêtre sur l'extérieur) mais on ne peut pas tout avoir.

La calidad humana de las señoras. Siento un calorcito en el corazón cuando recuerdo su amabilidad. La Sra. Alejandra cuidó a mis niños como si fueran familia. Ellos lo sintieron también. Me alegra mucho haberlas elegido. Sigan siendo así. Dejarán huella en la gente que vaya y será uno de los recuerdos bonitos que la gente tenga del Perú. Un fuerte abrazo y como dijo mi niño, aquí tenemos que volver sí o sí :)

You will not find a kinder group of ladies in all of Perú 💕. They were so helpful in assessing our son's needs when he fell ill, checking in on him, helping us to get a doctor and providing options when we could not access cash from the ATMs. They will also provide laundry service for an extra (very reasonable) fee.¡Muchísimas gracias y besos por todos 😘! We were so happy that our son was well enough to hike the 5 day Salkantay trek the next day. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. We had a 2 room apartment which was perfect for 3 people that overlooked the city. Our son and his wife had a comfortable double. Breakfast was fresh fruit, bread, eggs, juice, coffee and tea and delicious. Carmen's House is located on a car-free , cobblestone side street that requires an uphill walk from the main street. On the plus side, it is very quiet and a quick walk to the Plaza des Almas, restaurants, the wonderful Puku Puku coffee shop (rated in the best of the world), mini marts and ATMs. We felt very safe walking around at night.
