‏Comfortable apartment, great price and a very responsive host

Very nice comfortable apartment that is close to the beautiful sandy beaches of Marsa Alam. The host is very responsive and very helpful. Tips on snorkeling spots and best cafes in the area are very useful. The price is very reasonable. Great location close to the beach, cafes and local markets and at the same time quiet. In summary: comfortable apartment, great price and a very responsive host

No. No go.

Absolutely nothing.

I booked 7 nights at this property. I arrived late on the first night and, since the apartment was in the middle of nowhere with no working Wi-Fi, I had no choice but to stay. The place was in unacceptable condition: dust everywhere, dirty towels, cigarette smell in a “non-smoking” apartment, uncleaned toilet, bird droppings on the wall, leaking bathroom, broken heater, and unusable kitchenware, no functional wifi. The description mentioned “daily housekeeping,” but I was instead told to clean it myself or pay extra. The house keeper didn’t speak english, the owner was not responding to the email, after contacting him via whats up, he did, but didn’t take the responsibility for my complains till I backed it up with photos. And send me the housekeeper the second day at 7pm to clean the apartment - unacceptable. I cleaned myself so I could eat like a human. But the apartment would need at least 4-5 hours of deep cleaning. I spent the entire next day searching for another accommodation and arranging transportation. On the second morning, I left first thing. The apartment is not suitable for anyone who cares about hygiene, comfort or safety. I do not recommend this property. This time, for dome reasons I can't attach any pictures or videos- you can find them on google review.
