About a 10-minute drive from the center of the charming wine village of Le Plan de la Tour, via a scenic mountain road and finally a bumpy “French” dirt path, you’ll reach Villa La Lanterne. Surrounded by nature, it’s situated in a very peaceful, beautiful setting ideal for hiking, mountain biking, dirt bike riding, and ATV riding, with stunning views of the hills and even the blue waters of the Côte d’Azur from certain vantage points.
A large electric gate welcomes you at the entrance, with ample parking for many cars thanks to the spacious grounds covering over 1 hectare. Upon arrival, to the left of the villa you’ll find the pool house and the swimming pool, and to the right of the villa, a large pétanque court where you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets. At the rear, with a stunning view of the mountains, there is a jacuzzi with lighting. You can enter the villa through the dining room or via the beautiful iron staircase to the first floor, where the master bedroom is also located. The dining room opens onto a large, fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences, including a stovetop, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Large sliding windows provide direct access to the covered terrace and the 10 x 5-meter pool. A very cozy living room with a large sofa, flat-screen TV, and a fireplace that may only be used in the winter.
A beautiful staircase leads to the first floor, which features an open loft with sleeping accommodations for two people—including a double bed—and a workspace with a desk. A wooden door opens onto a very large master bedroom that sleeps 3 people, featuring a double bed and a single bed, as well as a workspace with a desk, a walk-in closet with a small refrigerator, and a very large bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. French doors then lead out to the large balcony overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean garden and pool with mood lighting.
From the living room, a door leads to an apartment with its own kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, and two bedrooms—one for two people with a double bed and the other for four people with a double bed and two single beds. These bedrooms also feature French doors opening onto a covered terrace on the pool side. Also, from the living room, a stone staircase leads down to a very large home theater room with a film projector mounted on the wall—where a PlayStation can also be connected—accommodating a total of 6 people with a double bed and 4 single beds. There is an exit to the rear of the house leading to the hot tub and the bocce court. A bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet, as well as a room with an extra refrigerator and a large freezer. Next is a large garage with an utility room, washing machine, pool table, and foosball table.
Next to the large swimming pool is a 43 m² pool house with a barbecue and outdoor kitchen. The pool house also features 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. One of the bedrooms, which features sliding doors that open to the outdoors, has two double beds, followed by the second bedroom with one double bed and two single beds, accommodating a total of eight people. In total, there are 8 double beds and 9 single beds. For the colder winter months, the home is equipped with underfloor heating, and use of the fireplace is permitted.

There’s also a great deal to see and do in the surrounding area. The charming wine village of Le Plan de la Tour, about 10 km away, features shops, bakeries, restaurants, and outdoor cafes. There’s a weekly local market on Thursday mornings. The beautiful seaside resort of Sainte-Maxime, with its promenade, casino, shops, and restaurants, as well as many large and small sandy beaches, is 15 km away. Saint-Tropez can be reached by ferry twice an hour from Sainte-Maxime and features a large weekly market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. The charming mountain village of Grimaud, with its castle ruins, and Port-Grimaud, the “Venice of the Côte d’Azur.” Cannes is a 45-minute drive away, Nice is a 1-hour drive, and Monaco is a 1.5-hour drive. And the Gorges du Verdon, Europe’s largest cliff/canyon, is just under a 2-hour drive away, featuring the beautiful Lac Saint-Croix, which also offers water sports.

During peak season, check-in and check-out are on Fridays.

Outside the high season, arrival and departure are possible on Monday or Friday through weekend, weekly, or midweek rentals.

Outdoor smoking is permitted on the patios only, and only with the use of an ashtray.
