An Absolutely Wonderful Stay at The Duke Maynooth! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely loved my stay at The Duke Maynooth! The location could not have been more perfect — it’s close to everything you could possibly need in Maynooth, while also being incredibly convenient for exploring Dublin. The train station is nearby, and it’s only about a 40-minute train ride into Dublin, making it so easy to enjoy the city while having a lovely, quieter place to come home to. The accommodations themselves are fantastic. My room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a private bathroom, which was a huge plus. The living quarters have been newly renovated, and everything feels fresh, modern, bright, and welcoming. Honestly, I kept thinking how much I wish I had had accommodations like this as a student! The shared kitchen was another highlight. There was plenty of refrigerator space (I needed it for my medication), along with lots of useful appliances and everything you need to make staying there convenient and comfortable. The whole setup is exceptionally well thought out for both short and longer stays. I have to give a special shoutout to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming even during the summer break. On checkout day, I could leave my luggage in the lobby under supervision until it was time to head to the airport. Rebecca deserves a special mention — she gave me a wonderful tour of the property on the day I arrived, and it was such a warm, helpful introduction to the place. Overall, The Duke Maynooth exceeded my expectations. Beautiful accommodations, a fantastic location, excellent facilities, and genuinely friendly staff — what more could you ask for? I would happily stay here again and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern, convenient, and affordable place to stay in Maynooth. A real gem!

The ‘paper’ quilts and pillows are the worst quilts I have ever had. I may well return because everything else was great - but I will bring my own quilt and pillows so that I can get some sleep.
