The property is well located . The breakfast was authentic and excellent. I rank it better than the Paragraph hotel. The room is very functional. Do not need to bring universal chargers. The Italian restaurant was super. The rooftop was amazing.

Amazing food and wine, with excellent (& helpful) reception staff and restaurant staff. Breakfast was particularly good (thanks Giorgi, Dani & Anna). Our room on 6th floor was very nice, with everything high tech and top notch bathroom products, towels, gowns, sheets etc

Our trip was a rollercoaster of great highs but serious lows too. Firstly, there were huge roadworks on the main high street outside the hotel main entrance, including half mile of earth moving and drain replacement. The pavements were almost unwalkable too. Next, we had one of the nice rooms on the 6th floor but that is also where the rooftop disco bar is and we couldn't get to sleep several nights due to loud music and shouting/laughter on our corridor (upto 1am). Next, during the week the cleaners responded well to our signage to clean/replenish our room (within 3hrs) but both days over the weekend we felt forgotten and had to complain after 6+hrs with no cleaners to be seen. Lastly, and more of a minor point, the minibar fridge is one that 'tracks' purchases and cannot be used by the occupants to chill their own items.

Rather strange room layout, dark corridors and staircases where it is difficult to understand where the steps begin and end. Every evening on the street nearby or in the hotel itself loud autumn music played until late, even a kind change of room did not help. Breakfasts are unreasonably expensive - you can find cheaper and tastier ones in establishments nearby. Room cleaning leaves much to be desired. The situation is saved by the staff, who try to solve emerging problems to the best of their ability.
