Casale di Cellole is an old farmhouse in the hills of Siena’s Chianti region. It is located in a scenic, secluded area that offers maximum privacy, tranquility, and excellent opportunities for walks in the surrounding woods.
The complex consists of a main house and two barns, Canopy and Africa, scattered among olive groves, vineyards, and woods that are home to deer, pheasants, and hares.
In the flower-filled garden, there is an old stone bathtub converted into a small pool for all guests, as well as countless other spots for relaxing and cooling off.

Africa is a standalone barn that was completely renovated in 2016. The barn’s original structure—characterized by stone walls and an imposing central column supporting the roof—was fully preserved.
The barn remains a large open space, and the new white materials used in the restoration are clearly visible.
The entrance is from the private gravel courtyard at the front, through a glass door leading to the first floor.
This space consists of a single room with sofas, a fireplace, a dining area with a panoramic window, and a kitchenette equipped with a gas range, stove, electric oven, and a refrigerator with a freezer. A steel staircase leads up to the loft-style double bedroom and a full bathroom with a shower stall.
In the private garden, there is a shaded pergola for al fresco dinners.
