Stunning location, beautiful rustic garden and views. Waking up with the cow just walking through the garden and the chickens clucking. Room was basic but had nice beds, was warm at night and had a nice shower with plenty of hot water. The host was always helpful and attentive and smiling, he collected us from the town and also offered to take us back into town for the bus but Tony Tours bus picked us up from just outside the accommodation. The food was delicious and varied and it was lovely eating outside in the garden looking at the mountains. The host even washed and dried our clothes for free. The price for the room seems expensive compared to what we paid to stay in Shkoder, but I think thats just because its Theth and its popular. The rooms are quite basic with no tv, but being in mountains and hiking all day etc its not much of an issue.

The only things stopping this place getting a 10 are firstly that there was construction going on at the far end of the building and a couple of mornings we woke up to banging and grinding etc. This was just the family doing their own construction so it wasnt too disruptive but it was not something we were expecting to have in an idyllic mountain setting. The only other issue was the electricity fluctuating a bit (but this happens in the mountains) and the wifi going on and off quite alot. Mostly it was just the surprise of there being construction going on and not being warned about it before. Overall it was a memorable stay and the hosts were very friendly and the food was an experience in its self.

Located above Theth, panorama and tranquility of the place are perfect for relaxing. A family run place, very friendly people. Food was excellent (local cuisine, portions way larger what we could handle) both breakfast and dinner. No coffee for breakfast by default but no problem when we asked for it (Turkish style).

A lovely family run guest house with incredible views and the BEST home-made meals. Both breakfast and dinner were abundant and delicious. The room was comfortable, super clean, and well insulated from a sudden overnight cold snap.

The hike up from town is not ideal, but there is a shortcut that another guest shared: it would be helpful to know in advance. If you want to take it, go to AutenTeth restaurant at the end / start of the trail and look for the signs for Royal Land and other guest houses (see picture). Then follow the orange markings. It will save you a good 10/15 minutes and it's a much more pleasant trail hike versus watching out for the cars and buses on the main road...
