This is a gem of a location. Margaret is a delightful host with a tremendously interesting backstory. The house is beautiful and includes all original wood which is stunningly finished. Our first night we were in a small room that didn't have air conditioning, but on the second night they moved us to a larger, air conditioned room at no additional cost.
Breakfast each morning was freshly made croissants and scrambled eggs, as well as fruit and yogurt. We ate at a common table and had great conversations with our fellow travelers and Margaret.
Location at Mahone Bay is beautiful in itself, is walking distance from several restaurants and a very nice pub, and a short drive to Lunenburg.
Margaret is wonderfully welcoming - you have the run of the house and she even turned the TV to the World Cup game for us. It's like staying with old friends.
I can't recommend this more thoroughly.

We stayed in the Studio and it was amazing! Very spacious and had everything we needed...with the exception of air conditioning (but there were ample fans!)
