This is a wonderful property for a large group like ours. We wanted to access the north end of Bear Lake in Idaho, and this was halfway between North Beach and the nearest full service market, Mike’s. It was about four blocks off the main highway, which was amazing and it still had fantastic views. There was plenty of parking for everyone. We had six vehicles and one was pulling a trailer. I reported several damages caused by either a previous group or many groups, and never reported to the property management company. I was unhappy with the cleaning, given the refrigerator and the kitchen sink. Also, there was glass. We needed to sweep up near the hot tub. The hot tub was 107, which was perfect! There was plenty of hot water and wonderful pans, knives, plates, utensils, and a multitude of towels and sheets. The beds were comfortable. I was unhappy that we had to check out by 10 instead of 11, especially after being asked to strip the beds and make sure all the bedding and towels were by the front door. We made it out in plenty of time, but we are a group with older grandchildren. All things considered, we would definitely stay here again, especially if more care was given to detailed cleaning. I realize such a big property has a hard time being cleaned between stays, especially during the busy time of the year. Our communication with the property management company, Bear Lake luxury rentals, was fantastic! We were quickly given a new code that worked to get us in.

We had a great stay with family over the Christmas holiday. The house was exactly as advertised. Mgmt company was available to answer any questions or issues. I did not like that all communication was outside of VRBO and to fully book the property a separate (and very extensive) rental agreement had to be executed.

We loved this house! The beds were amazing—tons of room for everyone, beautiful views, ping pong and pool downstairs, and the most extensive gaming system I have ever seen. I didn’t know how it worked but it kept so many teenagers and kids entertained when we had some downtime. There is an electric car charging station in the garage which was also handy. We loved the huge windows-the house was light and bright. Plenty of area in the kitchen and deck for huge groups to eat dinner. Almost every bedroom had a bathroom close to it so several families could have separate spaces. Great for a family reunion.

The house was okay. The view of the lake is not accurately described in the booking pictures. The newly built neighboring house takes away 80% of the view of the lake. The main reason that we booked this specific house was because of the view described in the pictures. The BBQ grill needs to be cleaned. Sone of the doors and windows do not lock properly. And the temperature in the lower level and main level is very different and it runs off the same thermostat located on the main level. While the main level is too hot, the lower level is freezing at night.
