Highly recommend! We spent three incredible days relaxing at Langley House with two other couples. The home is beautifully decorated, maintained, and spotless. We’ve been in many rental homes and this one stood out with everything from insanely comfortable beds to high quality kitchen appliances (sharp knives) to something for everyone (hot tub, firepit, corn hole). The upstairs living/dining/kitchen area has incredible views. We spent our mornings on the deck drinking coffee and were back there in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine. It has a great view of the water and a family of bald eagles in a nearby tree. I walked through the garden every morning before the rest of group was awake. It’s an incredible oasis with something blooming in every corner. The location of the home is ideal with a small beach that’s a short walk from the house, but it’s in easy driving distance to everything you’d want to do in Whidbey from picking up groceries, to the galleries, shopping, and restaurants in Langley, to must-see beaches and hikes. Note, like most beaches on Whidbey, it’s better for walking and viewing wildlife than swimming in Puget Sound, especially in June!

Amazing home, view, and garden on Whidbey Island!Feeling very lucky that we found this home for a long weekend away. It is a luxury home, not a rental property. John & Kate’s home was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. The mattresses are super comfortable, great pillows, and sheets. And the garden, WOW! I’ve never considered a garden as a reason to book a home, but this property is truly unique. The views are amazing, and the garden is destination in itself. We power-walked to Langley for breakfast twice, and used the hot tub every night. The house manager, Mandie, was also very nice and responsive. We’ve already talked to the owners about reserving for next year. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at Langley House! The home is beautifully decorated and maintained and had more than enough space for our family of four. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and playing corn hole in the spectacular yard. The landscaping and all the flowers are just soectacualr. The upstairs living room and kitchen are perfect for gathering, and the views are incredible. The house was spotless and super comfortable. Appreciated being so close to Langley which is adorable and has great restaurants. John and Kate thought of every detail, with coffee and milk, towels, beach chairs, toiletries…. All we needed were our clothes and a quick trip to the grocery store. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this home as a fabulous getaway.
