This cozy modern one bedroom sits above `Beer Kitchen` one of the most popular restaurants in the Westport district. Not to mention an entire strip of bars to enjoy an evening out. If that`s not enough, the world famous Country Club Plaza is just down the street, boasting 150 shops restaurants and entertainment venues. This 1 bedroom has gorgeous 13ft ceilings with tall windows that provide ample amounts of sunlight. Exposed brick and hardwood floors, and updated finishes such as brand new high end appliances, granite countertops and an energy efficient washer/dryer combo.

As a dedicated entertainment district it has dozens of bars and restaurants open till 3am on the weekends. The Country Club plaza is also down the street from this apartment. It`s Americas 1st outdoor shopping mall, housing 150 shops and restaurants in 15 blocks, all modeled after Seville Spain. Down Town KC and all it has to offer is only an 8 minute drive straight down main street.

Neat location, safe and secure apartment. Comfortable space. A few things keeping it from being 5 stars:- smell of grease and food from restaurant below often permeated into the room. My gf had a tough time with this. - host communication felt slightly overwhelming for my taste, I prefer more... short and sweet. And I didn't love being asked to "tidy the place up" before leaving, when I'm paying almost 1000 to be there. Overall, a very good experience. Be warned: it's a super "happening" area and kids are partying in the streets all hours of the night.

The place was nice and very clean. There was some communication problems with parking but the biggest issue was the nightlife in the neighborhood. We knew we were staying above a bar/restaurant and that is was an area with many bars however had no idea the noise level would be as excessive as it was. Every night we stayed there it was until 3am. Motorcycles and cars revving engines all night. We had long days at the convention center so were pretty exhausted by the end of the trip. The place is perfectly fine if you can handle the noise or are looking for nighttime entertainment. We did love the streetcar that ran all day for free and we used it everyday to go downtown.
