We loved our stay at Chief Logan Lodge! It was very clean, the beds were comfy and the privacy was amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. The wrap-around porch was where we spent the most time. It was so secluded and pleasant out there and the outdoor furniture was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the lower level patio was fully enclosed with a fence so you did not have direct access to the yard. With dogs in tow, it was a bit of an inconvenience as it would have been nice to take them directly outside through the basement patio. We just had to take them upstairs and out that way which we managed just fine. The steps leading up the house were very steep which was a little challenging for our older family members.

Wonderful, spacious cabin, great for family/larger gathering. A bit "echo-y" for those who want a quiet night's sleep. Mattresses a bit worn. Cabin was well-stocked with kitchen & bedding supplies, but there were some sticky surfaces. Water pressure fluctuated, but overall nice showers & baths. We'd wished the fire pit was closer. Fantastic deck!

The cabin was lovely and very conveniently located near all of the trails we planned to hike, which made our trip especially enjoyable.However, we did encounter a significant issue during our stay. There appears to be a bat infestation in the roof, which made the two upstairs bedrooms difficult to use. The constant squeaking and scratching noises throughout both day and night were quite disruptive and, at times, unsettling—especially in complete darkness when it was hard to tell where the sounds were coming from.While I personally managed to sleep in one of the upstairs rooms, it required frequently turning the lights on during the night, and others in our group were not comfortable staying in those areas.We hope this issue can be addressed, as the cabin itself has great potential and is in an excellent location.
