Lovely property, no hassle with finding accommodation. Owner next door, so always on hand. Very friendly and chatty. Loved the position. Just if you have a large vehicle. May be a tight squeeze getting in and out, as village green spaces get filled quickly.
Loved the location though

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. A very quiet village with no shop or even street lights. There is a good pub a few doors away and the neighbours are lovely as are the owners. Make sure you take a few necessities like bread, milk, cooking oil, etc. as there is nothing provided, although they do leave a nice cake as a welcome present. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and there are lots of games and dvds for children and adults alike. There is just a shale driveway but there are tables and chairs to sit outside on the warm evenings. Ideally situated for York, Scarborough, Whitby and the moors.
