We had a wonderful two days in these pods and honestly didn’t want to leave. The views are stunning, and the pods are beautifully built, cozy and warm. They’re also spacious and had everything we needed, including a little kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils, plates.
The hosts were incredibly friendly. John was lovely and always reachable by phone whenever we needed anything. We will definitely be back. It’s well worth the money, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone.

The location of these pods is outstanding. The most incredible views of the bay and ocean, walkable to Portmagee, honestly breathtaking. The pods themselves are beautifully appointed and you can really feel the attention to detail that's been put into making the accomodation the best it can be.

The view is unreal. Beautiful view across Portmagee Harbour and Valentia Island. You could sit and look at it all day long. The pod was spacious, cosy and well designed. Very warm welcome from our host as well as a supply of breakfast cereals and tea and coffee.
Elements of the accommodation felt less premium. The curtains didn’t draw fully, the bedding was ill fitting. Also there was nowhere to hang anything - just 1 towel hook. There is nowhere to dry wet clothes which is a common necessity in Ireland!! Also given the eco credentials I was surprised that there didn’t seem to be any facilities for recycling.
