Hidden Acres- Deluxe Double Room

The room was a really good size. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was in a beautiful setting.

I was very disappointed that there was no one there to check us in as a matter of fact we never saw any staff member. We did text with the owner/manager. I felt it was very impersonal. There was a nice what looked like a breakfast room but it was locked.

Beautifully renovated house with comfortable rooms. Fun visiting the farm animals. Loved the dual opening windows in the bedroom for plenty of fresh air to sleep. Short walk to a garden center with an exceptionally nice cafe where we had breakfast. Walkable to Malahide village with restaurants, pubs, waterfront, and interesting street life, although the walk was a bit longer than we expected. Took the host’s advice and got a taxi back after dark.

Very close to the airport. No staff were onsite but responses were fast through WhatsApp. Extremely clean.

A bit of noise from other rooms but nothing that was unmanageable.

Clean, comfortable bed and modern decor. The room had a good coffee machine and kettle. The location was reasonable for Malahide station.

It was expensive for what you get. The water became tepid in the shower aftern while. The room was quite light at night with a flashing smoke detector near the bed. Noise transmitted easily between rooms. A small communal kitchenette would have been helpful - more so than the sittingroom provided. It would definitely have felt better value for money with access to a kitchenette and laundry facility.
