Empire of Martin

We spent three wonderful days at the family-run Empire of Martin Hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Upon arrival, they offered us refreshing drinks and helped us with our luggage. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning. The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the main tourist area, in the lower part of the city. This is a real advantage, as it means you don't have to drive up to the historic centre through narrow, steep and difficult streets, where parking can also be very challenging. The breakfast was delicious and very complete, with typical local food, and was served at the table. The hotel has its own parking spaces directly in front of the building, with easy access, which is particularly convenient in Gjirokastër. We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel's unique decoration. We highly recommend staying at the Empire of Martin when visiting Gjirokastër!

No elevator Breakfast was somewhat limited and missing the charm of a breakfast room per say. The breakfast is served on small tables next to the lobby The rooms are small and while balcony is indicated, you can open the window, but that’s about it Parking is on the street and not a dedicated hotel parking.

L’hôtel est bien situé par rapport aux visites. Les chambres sont modernes et très propres.
