From this location you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the peninsula, balboa island, or down to Huntington Beach (45-minute bike-ride one direction) along the oceanfront boardwalk. However, with more than 30+ restaurants & bars, shops, electric boat/jet ski rentals, Surfboard/Stand-Up-Paddle-board Lessons all in the area you will never need to travel far!
Although you may be looking for a quiet getaway, the action is never more than a Walk/Bike Ride away. Heads up! No A/C. I didn’t see that detail when I originally booked. But I did book with some situational haste. So perhaps I just overlooked. That being said they had several floor fans in the house to keep the rooms cool all day. I put four stars for accuracy of online listing because it says it’s newly remodeled. But it clearly is not. I didn’t see one thing that looked new, but everything was functional. We were pleased and had everything we needed. The property management company was phenomenal and entry and exit was easy.
