We stayed here at the end of August and absolutely loved our time in this charming gîte. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and just the perfect size for our stay. Being in an old house, there are of course some stairs, but we felt that this added so much character and charm. The kitchen and bathroom are both beautifully renovated and brand new, and we particularly appreciated the little details throughout the gîte. Even the windows have clever screens to keep the flies and, most importantly, the mosquitoes out, which was a real bonus in this area! Everything has clearly been put together with a lot of care and love. There is also a washing machine on site, which is very convenient. Outside, there is a lovely shared garden with tables, while each gîte has its own private little terrace with a table and chairs. We also had the chance to see the large swimming pool, which is beautifully maintained and very clean. Unfortunately, we were so busy exploring the area that we never actually had time to use it, but it looked wonderfully inviting. The gîte is also in an incredibly peaceful, rural setting - wonderfully quiet and a truly gorgeous place to relax. The location was absolutely perfect for us. We chose the gîte as a base for exploring both the Lot and the Dordogne, and it turned out to be ideal for everything we wanted to see. Many of the places we visited were a short drive away, while others were around half an hour’s drive, with the furthest places taking up to about an hour. This made it very easy to explore a wide variety of places while still having a lovely, peaceful base to return to. During our stay we explored caves, picturesque little villages, castles and plenty of the surrounding countryside, and we thoroughly enjoyed discovering everything the area has to offer.

Die gîtes sind ein perfekter Ort, um sich zu erholen. Der große Garten und der ebenfalls sehr große Pool laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Atmosphäre rund um das Anwesen ist sehr herzlich, Anita und Hans sind großartige Gastgeber! Die Wohnungen sind sehr schön ausgestattet, und zu viert war es dort sehr komfortabel. Die Schlafzimmer sind in der ersten und zweiten Etage, Treppen sollten also für Gäste kein Problem sein. Ganz toll ist auch die Terrasse, die vor den vier Wohnungen angebracht ist und die verbunden werden kann, wenn mehrere Wohnungen zum Beispiel von Freunden belegt werden.

Hans et Anita sont très aimables. La piscine est très agréable, les jeux extérieurs (table de ping pong, badminton, trampoline) il ne manque rien. L’appartement est vraiment très sympa et rénové avec beaucoup de goût.
